Robot 3d model

In the Tools tab, you can manage the 3D model of the robot.

Add New 3D Model

Click the Add New 3D Model button to open a window where you can select a 3D model of the robot part you want to insert. Please note that only STL files are supported.

Origin

By pressing Origin next to the part you want to modify, the part’s settings will be displayed. You can adjust the origin by changing the X, Y, and Z offsets to shift the part’s position. Additionally, use Yaw (Y), Pitch (P), and Roll (R) to modify the part’s rotation. Press Update to apply the changes.

Color

You can change the color of a tool by selecting a new color from the drop-down menu next to the tool. Note that the color change will only be visible in the 3D model view of the robot, not in the 3D viewer.

Type of Model

Select the type of part from the options: Link 1 to Link 6 or a Base Part. A base part means it remains stationary and will not move during simulations.
